Lonely, perhaps...but there is also a serene quality to it as well. A peaceful resting place, with the mellow blue tones in the background and the shades of brown in the foreground, it just seems so very gentle and quiet. Perhaps thoughtful, would be the best way of describing it...maybe it is lonely, but lonely for those who are missing something, or someone greatly- and seeing all the great, beauty of the water brings to mind those who were beautiful and made our lives beautiful by gracing our lives with theirs.
